John L. Hearton, President & Chairman of the Board
With more than 25 years of operational experience, Mr. Hearton is a veteran in the development and management of information technology. He served President for MANDEX growing enterprise business from $9.9M – $27.3M making the Washington Business Journals “Fast 50” and the INC. 5000 for 2 years in a row. Mr. Hearton served as Chief Technology Officer for Secure Missions Solutions before selling to Parson’s in 2014 and was a founder of WareOnEarth Communications, Inc. where he developed a nationally ranked Information Assurance organization. He has brought his leadership to GeoWireless to develop world class communications services for Government programs.
Mr. Hearton serves on technology councils and advisory panels as well as standards bodies. He provides technical advisory support to the Department of Defense and other agencies on leading edge technologies such as MLS, SDN, IPv6, Quantum and Cloud Computing.
Previously, John was with legacy organization Allied Signal, now Honeywell International, where he was responsible for IA services and the transition of leading edge technologies to the market. John was responsible for managing programs in excess of $150 million and was appointed to Allied Signal’s leadership council.
John’s vision for GeoWireless is to be the preeminent Cyber and HPC Company delivering secure solutions for next generation communication requirements. Our goal is to be admired by our customers for excellence in service and support and to deliver opportunities for our employees while providing growth for our company.
Rodger Johnson (CTO)
Mr. Johnson is the Chief Technical Officer for GeoWireless Inc. Rodger served as the Defense Department's Program Manager for the High Performance Computing Modernization Program's Defense Research and Engineering Network. Largely responsible for the network's inception and prolific growth in size and capability for over 15 years, Rodger provided overall direction and management for the wide area network and security. He served as the Information Assurance Manager for the High Performance Computing mission within that Office of the Secretary of Defense.
Rodger received one of the highest honors bestowed by the US Army, “ The Superior Civilian Service Award.” He retired from the U.S Army in 2008 with over 28 years of Government civil service, all of which was in the information technology area.
Rodger joined GeoWireless in 2008. He currently serves as the company's Chief Technical Officer. He provides strong guidance in the area of WAN/LAN design, Wireless, Security and Video Surveillance.
Pamela Johnson (Director of Contracts)
Pamela Johnson is the Director of Contracts for GeoWireless, Inc. She also oversees the Human Resources Department and Finance Department.
Pamela joined GeoWireless in July 2007 as the Director of Human Resources and the Chief Compliance Officer.
In 2011 she attended Villanova University for the Advanced Contract Management Certificate and Mastering Business Skills. She then moved over to the position of Director of Contracts.
Scott Higgins (Security Architect)
Mr. Higgins is the Senior Security Solutions Architect & Corporate Liaison. Scott has over 23 years of expertise in Cyber Warfare, Computer Network Operations, Intelligence Operations and IA . He served as an Army counter-intelligence special agent for 10 years before accepting a commission in the Navy Reserves as an Intelligence Officer. He later re-designeated as an Information Professional. He is currently still affiliated with the Navy reserves and serves as Commanding Officer for the NR NNWC GNOSC unit in Suffolk, VA.
Prior to joining GeoWireless, Scott served as a Program Manager for Wareonearth Communications Inc., (WCI) with Profit and Loss responsibility for the Global Security Solutions (GSS) Division.
Prior to WCI, Scott served as Project Manager and Cyber Security SME in the BAE-IT Center of Excellence. He assisted SPAWAR in developing secure technology solutions, training, and formulating policy in support of the Navy’s Service Oriented Architecture initiative. Additionally, he served in various Senior IA Analyst/Engineer positions for several CERTs supporting 100+ organizations and 10K+ users.
Chris Cummings (Director of Programs and Development)
Chris Cummings is the Director of Programs and Develop for GeoWireless, Inc. Chris has over 30 years of experience managing and leading projects and programs supporting the Department of Defense, U.S. Federal Government civilian agencies, and State and Local Government agencies.
During his 20 years of active duty service in the United States Marine Corps and in the years since his military retirement, Mr. Cummings has directed the day to day operations of large Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) programs. The agencies and organizations he has supported include all branches of the Armed Forces, the Intelligence Community, FEMA, Secret Service, Library of Congress, U.S. Department of Agriculture, Department of Homeland Security, Department of the Interior, Department of Justice, and the Bureau of Reclamation. Additionally, he has supported agencies from more than 20 State and Local governments.
Chris has led programs in the areas of software development, network design and integration, physical and electronic security system design and integration, information assurance, airborne and ground-based sensor development and data collection, continuity of operations, emergency response management, and cybersecurity. He possesses a Master of Business Administration Degree (specializing in Management) and several professional certifications.
